3. Famous personalities

Resident Evil 2 provided a very popular cast of characters that each play their part in the wider Resident Evil universe. In modern creation, Capcom designers planned to preserve the classic look and feel that made them so prominent in the original game.

Leon S. Kennedy
Leon Kennedy is a junior police officer who has become one of the most loved and famous characters in the series, and he made his debut in 1998 in the original release of Resident Evil 2.

Leon became a realist and calm fan favorite immediately thanks to his vulnerability and his hairstyle, and he returned as the main champion in two subsequent games.

Claire Redfield
As Claire searches for her missing brother - Chris Redfield, Resident Evil hero - the college student finds herself stuck in Raccoon as hordes of the living dead begin to conquer the streets.

Claire is smart and compassionate, and she was the main character who linked the first and second games and has been a staple of the series for decades after her debut.

Ada Wong

Sherry is more important than she appears first, to reappear later in the series as a federal agent with strange superpowers.
