In RAGE 2, you’ll dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. You can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. The game brings together two studio powerhouses - Avalanche Studios, masters of open world mayhem and id Software, gods of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage.
In the year 2185, humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Ruthless and bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule who remains with an iron fist. You are Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland. Robbed of your home and left for dead, you’ll tear across an unforgiving wasteland battling bloodthirsty gangs to find the tools and tech needed to take the fight to The Authority and crush their oppressive rule once and for all!

Travel in a vast and varied environment with ease. Cross lush jungles, perilous swamps and sun-burned deserts, in your quest against Authority. Wasteland is huge, but you have the arsenal to tame every inch of it.
Metallic ride
From monster trucks to gyrocopters, drive an assortment of robust vehicles ready for the desert and travel the badlands at top speed. If you see it, you can drive it!
Factions and enemies
Fight for control of Wasteland against fierce factions made up of madmen, mutants and bloodthirsty monsters.
3. There is a huge map to explore
Don't mind the charred or broken trees or wasteland you might expect in a bitter future - RAGE 2 is stained with neon paint and full of messy life. It is an outlaw civilization, as spent mineral settlements are spread out over a wide map where monsters and bandits hide in the bushes, but despite all this, chaotic society not only survives, but also thrives.
Explore a community that lives in barren lands full of life
In the 30-year period between the first game and RAGE 2, the arid land flourished with a new life, foretelling a new beginning for its hero, Walker.
You can still find many mutants, monsters, and crazy, and you'll also find different ecosystems in the game map where the live settlements have grown, as well as you find characters and factions with their own stories that attract you to them. You are charged with the task of regaining control of the world from the Authority, an oppressive and oppressive regime trying to impose its rule on rough terrain beyond the law.
All this is available to you from the beginning
There lies a large world in which there are many tasks to be performed, the bandits camps to be disposed of and the convoys to be removed from the road. However, your revolutionary launch will not be restricted by a closed map or unattainable targets, because you are free from the start to wander around and shoot anyone who has thrust himself to stand in your way, and use the most powerful weapons early in the game.

Weapons like the Grav Dart bomber that pushes enemies in any direction at high speed or the Firestorm pistol that rains the bad guys with flammable shells that you can ignite or the Hyper gun that will explode penetrating the enemy and continues to penetrate to the next enemy and then the next ...
Indulge in murder, then you'll activate Overdrive mode of your weapon, making everything up to 11 and exposing anyone in your area at great risk of becoming a pool of viscosity in a very fast time.
Nanotrite Powers at Your Fingertips
This Nanotrite's range of capabilities extends from defensive reinforcements like an impenetrable barrier or a rapid dodging start, to a slap on the Slam on the ground eliminating anyone in your range, or a Vortex gravitational pull that attracts entire groups of enemies toward each other and then shoots them in the air.
There are loads of loads to choose from, as you gain more Nanotrite powers when completing quests, so you can choose which combination best suits your craze type.
Mix and match weapons for extreme carnage
Once you fill up your weapon wheel and boost yourself with a bunch of Nanotrite capabilities, you'll find that there's a whole new world of combos to try.
Do you want to turn a group of enemies into a big flame ball? Of course! Firestorm and Vortex are your true friends. Or you can set up a deadly Barrier Barrier, then use Shatter Smash to push a annoying opponent directly into it, and burn it right away. Be creative, as you'll always find fools to use as test subjects!

5. Go out to find an adventure
The RAGE 2 range of cars involves more than just moving from point A to point B. The Walker has some basic (but well-equipped) vehicles to choose from, an all-terrain armored vehicle, an all-terrain Phoenix, a Fast Dispatch Chopper, or an Air Icarus. Each one is upgradeable, so you can adjust it in a reliable garage for mobile attack units.
But all over the arid lands, you will find all kinds of roads to navigate the map and cause little damage on the road. Perhaps a Monster Truck is hidden in Goon Squad camps to be able to steal it, or you can pick up something more suitable than other factions, such as The Authority’s Xerxes III or a modified Wind Razor bike from Immortal Shrouded.
Race, fight and compete to become the super arid land champion
In addition to tackling the tasks of the three major faction projects, you can create a Walker profile in arid lands with all kinds of optional and rewarding activities.
You can make your name famous in the race track or enter a massacre as it was shown on TV in the old "Mutant Bash", which is a survival TV games where many of the mutant monsters rush to the arena, fighting for your blood. Or perhaps you prefer to help needy strangers by saving them from being chased by Goon Squad caravans, or listening to their stories and helping them with a wide range of side quests.
If it does not work out initially, use deception
Sometimes life is difficult in arid lands. Everyone is ready to kill you, as monsters five times your size try to crush you ... We understand that very well. Plus, you are here to have fun and enough time, not to spend a long time, right?
Enter the Wasteland Wizard. This mysterious wandering merchant will sell you secrets that reveal all kinds of amazing powers that will give you an exceptional advantage (or make RAGE 2 hugely more fun). The game features one-shot killings, reverse tosses, and some great in-game comments.
