1. Adventure mode

The enhanced version Nitro-Fueled is seeing the return of adventure mode as well as the big villain Nitros Oxide. There are two options to play: Classic and Nitro Vold, and four types of events to play.

Choose a classic and you will pick a character from a group of characters to master their racing style, but as with the original PS One edition, you will have to stick to your choice until the end. The Nitroold option gives you the freedom to unlock characters, vehicles, and customization items, and toggle between them at any stage of your adventure.

  1. Artifact Race: Time is raiding you, and the only way to score time fast enough to win an artifact is to crush a time box to stop the countdown.
  2. CTR Challenge: Have you faced a world leader? There is more to do with these races that will send you to other side quests to collect CTR codes that unlock jewel cup events.
  3. Leader Challenge: Collect four cups to face Reaper Rowe, Babu Babu, Komodo Joy and Pestrip in one-on-one battles.
  4. Prize Race: A three-course race to win first place and the prizes you will need to unlock the Leader's Garage and Time Shift Platforms.

2. Arcade events

Would you prefer to immediately start a race against an online or offline opponent or a computer controlled opponent? There are five classic racing modes for you to choose from:

  1. The battle: Do you have to settle an account with someone? Battle mode is where you can take revenge on one of them in group confrontations consisting of players up to four, in a series of squares filled with weapons and additional abilities. You can modify the rules according to your preference, but the goal will not change, as the most driver who kills is the victor.
  2. Time race: Here is really where blood and fur are strewn, a three-cycle direct race titled Speed. Record your time and race for ghost to get better ... get better, enough and the ghost of Dr. Nevarius Tropy will appear, followed by the super fast nitrous oxide ghost as a challenge for real speed fans.
  3. Showdown Race: An arcade race for those who don't want to get distracted, a team competition of four to four players.
  4. Arcade Race: Classic Race Event, which is a single, multi-cycle race to cross the streak first. Of course, there are plenty of squish options and wumpa fruits to increase excitement.
  5. Arcade Cup: These major prize events come with a set of cups to compete for, in events that can be played individually or by two players. Win the cup and unlock additional arenas to play in battle mode.

3. Characters

Each character has its own strengths and weaknesses. Would you choose a balanced character for more control, or a bold character to reach a crazy speed with a difficult-to-control character?

Crash Bandicoot: The hero of the series is perhaps what made you ever hear the name of the hazelnut.
If you are looking for an expert on all types of tracks, Butterfly is what you are looking for. His balanced stats reduce his weaknesses a lot, but he may lag behind in the tracks appropriate for a more specialized class.

Dingodile: He's half Dengo, half an alligator and one of the fastest contestants on the list. Playing with it may be difficult due to its high speed and low stats in turns, but you will become a brutal monster on the race track once you get used to its wild style.

Dr. Neo Cortex: When this crazy scientist doesn't stun animals with the rays of Evolfo, he shoots them with weapons in the race track. He has a balanced personality like Crash making him a confident choice, despite his evil tendencies.

Coco Bandicoot: Crash's smart and lively sister is usually nailed to her laptop screen or busy working on equipment for Crash.
You may encounter little difficulty against fast-paced characters in long-term races, but reaching the extreme means reaching the top speed very quickly. Suitable for those who usually slow.

Dr. N Gin: He was a world-famous physicist until a strange accident caused a missile to land inside his head. In Jin has high speed, which makes it a good choice for sweeping obstacles. The accident may have cost him the sway of his mind, but maybe it made him a better driver?

Ripper Roo: Despite his messy look and a crazy jacket, Ripper Ripper is a rational driver who focuses his energies on control rather than speed. If you find yourself having difficulty with steep obstructions and turns, Freibro Row is for you.

Pura: Koku is the beloved pet tiger and carried on his back during many odds.
Cute, attractive and suitable for beginners. Pura is suitable for hiding and eliminating opponents from hiding. What he lacks is speed, and he makes up for his high turn statistics, making it easier for you to turn in sharp corners that might knock the fastest runners out of the track.

4. Additional abilities and weapons

You'll need additional boosters as you drive at your speed against the other contestants, and the Nitro-Fueled Edition has all the fun additional capabilities from the original game.

Additional abilities: race at full speeds with Turbo Booster or be hidden from the eyes of other contestants with a blocking feature that will make their projectiles bypass you without harm.

Wumpa Fruit: Eat Five Every Day to Protect You from Diseases and Increase Your Extra Potential! Collect ten of them to increase the strength of your weapons and enjoy the advantage against your opponents.

Traps: Explosive Boxes and Mugs The Brio are stylish gifts to leave to your friends while you win. Be cunning and leave a mug behind an explosive box or on top of a turbo platform to make your opponents circle themselves, or just blow them with the TNT box.

Weapons: Send shells that track behind your enemies, or throw bombs on the path to eliminate them, or if you are lucky and put your claw on a time shift crystal, it will eliminate anyone in the foreground. Add some wumpa juice for more damaging effects!

Shields: Masks and power shields protect you from damage, but they also act as weapons. Clash with another contestant wearing a mask or throw your shield at an opponent before he reaches the finish line to make him watch in terror while you pass it.

Customize a race: destroy your friends and family on a nice personalized tour. Mix and match the hull, paint, wheels, stickers, and badges to match your character, whether it's a classic Crash Team Racing appearance or a more modern look.

Nitro Kart Tracks: Drivers' favorite areas such as Volcano Island and Meteor Valley that were in their original release in 2003, in addition to the difficult regions thunder thunder and desert storm. We'll see more technology in a technical area while Android's robot and Electron Street promise challenges of a future flavor.

6. Tips and Tricks

Crash and his friends have some scams to flip that you can master to beat others. But be careful, one step is wrong and things may turn up ...

Turbo Booster: If you want more speed, you can press the R1 button to jump over slopes, bumps on the road and rolls to advance. The longer you stay in the air, the stronger the boost will be when you land.

Electric Slide: Press and hold the R1 button when approaching a bend to jump and start slipping. When the turbo gauge turns red, press the L1 button to select a booster while you continue to press the R1 button. With calm nerves and some time, you will be able to perform this movement up to three times on each glide.

Defensive weapons: Masks and power shields are not your only means of protection. Also, explosive boxes and mugs that Brio can stop weapons such as tracking shells and bowling grenades, if you succeed in throwing them at the right time.

Turbo Breakout: You'll want to start the race with Turbo Booster to outpace the contenders. Repeatedly press the X button to increase the engine speed and fill the scale. If you set its time correctly and fill the scale as soon as the signal turns green, it will start at a maximum speed booster.
