1. Exploration key to the game
As the latest Kindred Aerospace recruit, you landed on an unknown planet called AR-Y 26. With a little equipment and without a real plan you have to explore, classify space plants and animals, and determine if the planet is fit for human settlement.
However, soon you will discover that some things are not what they seem. The presence of a mysterious tower on the horizon indicates that you are not the first to step foot here. So, in addition to playing the role of the botanist and cartographer, you have a puzzle to solve, and adventures you must take on.
And moment by moment, your journey turns into a captivating 'metrophysinia' course:
- Step 1: Step off your ship to explore the planet AR-Y 26, and have a wildlife test on it, while protecting yourself from any space threats.
- Step 2: When faced with a stubborn hurdle, embark on a side mission to find the materials to make a gadget or power up that will help you get past the hurdle.
- Step 3: Return to your ship to make that item, then return to your quest in the unknown world to complete your adventure.
2. Designed to draw a smile on your face
1. Funny: Journey to the Savage Planet is really very funny. The game features smart text, funny characters and creatures, and a good amount of comic situations, it is a light-shaded experience that never takes itself too seriously.
2. Filled with color: The development team has inspired their visual models from the primary colors used in the 16-bit era, by quoting the appearance of bright blue skies used in delightful classic games such as Outrun and Sonic the Hedgehog. Brown's grades will only be met in space waste ...
3. Positive: Do not expect a miserable story of tortured heroes who save humanity from impending genocide. Savage Planet brings us back to the golden age of science fiction, where brave adventurers took the lead in exploring the great unknown, with a glow in their eyes, and a leap in their footsteps.
3. A mini world that respects your time
Journey to the Savage Planet is the first production from Typhoon Studios, a small team led by Alex Hutchinson, former creative director of Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 4. The first game takes advantage of the experience that team members have worked hard while creating the huge open world games, extracting them in an experiment A series that provides useful manuals, and does not take you months to finish.
- Playability: Although it is an economic experience, different ends of the story are available depending on the decisions you make. If you want to go back to playing again, you have a good reason to do so.
- Duration: expect the game to take 10 to 12 hours. Without procrastination, stuffing, or eternal last stage; only a brief adventure has a beginning, middle, and end, at a price that fits the content.
- Density, not size: ARY-26 is a humble 'world' that is truly filled with things to explore. Across four distinctive environments, explore caves, ice fields, floating islands, mushroom forests, lava pits, and more, and meet more than 30 unique space species.
4. Have fun playing tools ...
In addition to a host of basic upgradeable capabilities, including grapples and a missile strap, you have a "left hand" and "right hand".
- Right hand: Exclusively used for your trusted laser pistol. This weapon starts at the beginning of the game as an ordinary laser pistol, but when you go ahead, it will make a bunch of updates, like the 'bounce ball' feature that launches a projectile that jumps between enemies.
- Left hand: used for a range of unusual purposes, from food containers that act as bait to knock or distract creatures, to hold 'seeds' that you can attach to obstacles, and to use as a tool for attaching your hook pistol.

5. ... but it does not focus on aiming
Game makers rarely force you to use your weapon. While some creatures may consider you an easy lunch, most of the wild creatures in the game won't attack you if you don't attack them.
Although creatures are a source of industry materials, you can also harvest the same resources from the environment, and as your mobility and roaming capabilities evolve, you can strategically choose to avoid most violent confrontations, if desired.
Exploration and adventure are the foundation of Savage Planet, not violence!
6. No map to get distracted
You are a bridge adventurer at unknown borders, of course you don't have a map! The lack of a map not only fits the story, it is a deliberate design decision. Game maps can be useful, but they can also distract you from the gaming experience. When you finish Savage Planet you should be under the feeling "It was a fun adventure!", Instead of saying "You've accomplished all the map icons!"
Instead of 'playing according to map', you have to rely on your intuition and your own travel tools to chart your way through the game's mini world.
7. You can play it with a friend
You can enjoy Journey to a Savage Planet alone, but you can also invite a friend or family member to play cooperative from start to finish, or if you prefer, you can only summon them to help confront an opponent leader. Admission and departure are available throughout the game, and the host is the controller.
