4. Bigger, more dangerous, and more crazy than the previous part

1. Four new Vault Hunters characters

Five years after the Borderlands 2 events, the game will add four new heroes. Worthy Successors for Axton, Maya, Salvador, and Zer0, the new heroes are well optimized to complete each other on the battlefield.

 FL4K
Perhaps the biggest change to the new set is the FL4K, a itinerant robot that can summon one of the three loyal "pets" to help out on the battlefield - and suffice it to say that they're definitely not the cool cute kind ...

 Zane
An acquaintance of the ancient Zer0 killer from Borderlands 2. Zane is a heavily tooled killer to eliminate his targets. Send a drone to jump on the enemy, throw a shield to reverse the upcoming shots, or distract the enemy with Digi-Clone's ability.

 Moze
Salvador's fans may find themselves drawn to the weapon expert in Borderlands 3, although Moze is definitely not nice. Its abilities allow you to ride Iron Bear, which is your own robot, to unleash you and provoke all kinds of mayhem and madness.

 Amara
Amara, who took over Siren after Maya, is a fierce fighter who is able to grind enemies into dust of Phaseslam's ability, freeze them in their place using Phasegrasp, or uses Phasecast to launch a lethal astral projection of herself onto the enemy.

2. You will love and hate the Calypso Twins simultaneously

Question: How can Handsome Jack be emulated? The evil Borderlands 2 character was an arrogant company employee who deservedly earned what he earned. The gearbox developer deepened his imagination and created an enemy of equal hatred. Here is Calypso Twins.

Troy and Tyreen are two Siren-dominated children of The Vault, a deranged gang bent on destroying. So far, they are two typical examples of evil. But what increases them dislike in the world of loathing is the fact that they are influenced on social media, obsessed, arrogant and without mind. Trust us, you will relish the destruction of their day.

3. Borderlands 3 is the largest game in the series, the most brutal

For the first time in the Borderlands series, you will ascend to Sanctuary III and travel from Pandora in search of loot on strange new planets.

 Promethea
Urban planet covered with future skyscrapers. Oh, and it's also a war zone thanks to the ongoing conflict between Atlas and Maliwan.

 Pandora
It may not be the only focus now, but you will spend much of the game on the original desert planet of Borderlands.

 Eden-6
Unlike Pandora, Eden-6 is a humid and fertile environment. It is home to the Jakobs clan, and all kinds of swamp creatures.

 Athenas
A quiet mountainous planet inhabited by an ancient sect known as Order of the Impending Storm.

4. More pistols

  • Better weapons: Many firearms in Borderlands 3 now have a secondary launch that can be used by pressing Control Panel buttons, and may change the launch range, type of ammunition, magnitude of damage, etc.
  • Strangest weapons: There are more weapons, but not only that, the offered firepower is more crazy than ever. There are guns that fire burgers, there are guns that sprout legs and chase the enemy, and there are guns that fire bullets in a curved path - and the list continues.
  • More weapons: Borderlands has always been about a relentless pursuit of bigger and stronger weapons, and this time Gearbox has used everything in its sleeve, promising us over a billion potential weapons unique - almost 50 times what Borderlands 2 has.

5. Collaborative gameplay is easier than before

Borderlands 3 can be played individually, but it gets more exciting when you play it with friends to plunder and search for loot together. Here's how Gearbox improved the multiplayer experience this time:

  • Level synchronization: Gearbox has incorporated a new system that measures each team member's experience, allowing players of different levels to play together happily. You will defeat the enemies as one team, but the rewards are special for each player.
  • Spoils Visible: When a defeated enemy spoils a game in Borderlands 3, each player gets their own items, instead of the first one getting the best equipment (you can disable this option if you prefer the game to be competitive).
  • Ping: Are you strong and silent? Borderlands 3 has a new ping system that allows players to communicate without talking. Just select a specific enemy or point of interest, and the other players will be alerted via voice message.

6. More player options

Character customization and agency have always been central to Borderlands' experience. This is how Gearbox increased it to 11:

  • Vehicles: Whereas previous games used to be "what you see is what you get" style, you can now adjust garage contents, while unlocking various customization options by converting stolen vehicles into Catch-A-Ride kiosks.
  • The appearance: In addition to the expected aesthetic customization option for the Vault Hunter theme you are playing, you can now choose distinct emoji, comeback effects and an echo theme.
  • Fighting skills: You can now use one of three skills at any time (except for Zane, who can use two), which unlocks a wide range of fighting options. Most importantly, you can now customize your fighting skills with reinforcements.

7. Improved gameplay

In addition to the huge new features, Borderlands 3 features a host of improvements and tweaks aimed at ensuring that it is the smoothest and most enjoyable game in the series.

  • Movement - you can now climb the edges with the trick and slide around the game.
  • Shooting - The shape of weapons has changed, with improved acceleration curves when aiming below the aiming tab.
  • More boss battles - expect more confrontations with enemy leaders, for a more accurate pace.
  • Destructible Environments - Borderlands has always been a game about chaos, and now you can multiply chaos by destroying the game environment. They look great, but they also serve the gameplay function - you can now destroy hiding methods to shoot at enemies.
  • Refreshing non-playable characters - when you die in combat with a non-playable character, this character can now bring you back to life - and in return you can bring them back to life. Trust us, this is a very useful feature.
  • Spoils Results - The "result" now appears in the upper right-hand side of booty statistics, which makes determining your desire to take it much easier.
