Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a action-packed, third-person RPG style game provided by the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series developer. Take control of legendary hero Son Goku (whose real name is "Kakarot") on a massive free-roaming adventure that will put you in direct confrontation with the most sinister villains in the series.

Collaborate with countless familiar faces from the animated series as you embark on an exploration journey, advance in the game, take on side quests, learn powerful new techniques, and unlock the true Saiyan sweat abilities within you.

Unlike previous games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is based on story, world and characters as much as on premium action.

4- Who appears in the game?

Many of the most beloved characters in the Dragon Ball Z universe will appear in DBZ: Kakarot, some of them will have unique missions, some will be able to join your battles, and you will be able to fully play with other characters.

A- Auxiliary characters

You can use the maximum of two auxiliaries in any battle, and each will add their own special features. These characters include:

Chiaotzu

A former Master Shen pupil, has unimaginative mental abilities, and can bind enemies for long periods while carrying out multiple attacks.

Tien

An old opponent of Goku and a talented warrior, he can do great damage with his Tri-Beam ability, or stun the enemies with Solar Flare.

Yamcha

A former student of Kame-Sennin and a repentant thief, can grab the enemy's attention to execute a strategic plan, or limit the enemy to his Spirit Ball missile capability.

Krillin

One of Goku's close allies and reliable aide, who can stun enemies and gaze at the power of his Solar Flare, and can do great damage from a distance with Distructo Disc.

B- Characters available to play

Outside of the auxiliary characters, there are a number of characters that can be played with, each with its own set of moves, and missions with its own story that continues throughout the game. These characters include:

Vegeta

Prince Saiyans and Goku's constant opponent, as well as master of Ki-Blast attacks. Expect the ability of Multiple Energy Blast as Ki-Blast damage on a small area, and is suitable for single combat or successive enemies.

Piccolo

A mysterious member of the Space Namekian family, is a fierce competitor with abundant health and excellent defensive capabilities, and he can stand up to larger groups of enemies thanks to his Explosive Wave capability.

Gohan

Goku's brave skilled son, he is proficient in manual combat and possesses many near-range abilities that can be used to link a group of moves and lethality to the enemies health bar.

5- Can I unlock Super Saiyan capability?

In addition, you will be able to control super-strong fighters like Vegito and Gotenks which are the fruit of the fusion of two other warriors in one form so they use all the combined power gathered to eliminate the most dangerous enemies.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was developed by CyberConnect2, a veteran Japanese studio, with a long history of designing dazzling anime-inspired thriller games like the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, Asura’s Wrath, and JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Eyes of Heaven.

Thanks to more than two decades of experience in designing action games, the team worked directly from the original DBZ designs by Akira Toriyama to create an original version of the fan's favorite series.
